Build your catalog
The catalog has three levels, and they are built in order.
- A product is the family, such as “Coffee Subscription”. Create it from Products, entering the minimum: a name.
- A plan is a tier inside it, such as “Basic”. Add it from the product’s plans and prices tab.
- A price is a billing option on the plan, such as monthly. Add it on the plan page.
The rule that catches people out
Section titled “The rule that catches people out”A plan with no active price cannot be subscribed to. Until you add one, the products table shows the product as not sellable and says why in its alerts column. This is the single most common reason a merchant cannot find their plan in a checkout link.
With something sellable in the catalog, connect a payment provider.
