Subscriptions
This is where you track and manage every subscription in your store.
What this screen is
Section titled “What this screen is”A table of every subscription, split into tabs by state: all, active, paused, failed payments, cancelled and ending soon. The screen opens on active when you have any, and the failed-payments tab carries a count.
Above the table: a search by name, email or id, a date-range filter, sort by, and filters for billing cycle, status and the next-renewal window.
The columns
Section titled “The columns”- Customer: name and email.
- Plan: the product and plan they subscribed to.
- Status: the subscription’s state, with a payment failed alert and the attempt number when it is being retried. A subscription stays active while retries are running.
- Amount: the amount including tax, with its cycle, so one row tells you how much and how often.
- Start date and next renewal, with how long is left.
The actions
Section titled “The actions”Each subscription offers actions according to its state:
- Pause: active subscriptions only.
- Resume: paused subscriptions.
- Cancel: any subscription that is not already cancelled or ended.
Open any row for the subscription page, which offers two more:
Apply Promotion discounts this subscription alone. Choose from your existing promotions or enter a coupon code, and read the duration on each option: a three-month discount is not the same as a permanent one.
Add Add-on attaches an extra. Each add-on shows its price and whether it is recurring, charged every cycle, or one-time, and you can select more than one.
You can also select several subscriptions and apply a bulk action. It skips whatever does not apply, so a bulk pause only touches the active ones.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- You cannot find a subscription: the screen opens on active. Try all and clear the filters.
- Pause is unavailable: pausing is for active subscriptions only.
- A subscription shows a payment-failed alert: it is being retried according to your dunning campaign. The Payment Tries screen that will show the log is not available yet.
