Dunning campaigns
A failed payment is not a lost customer. A dunning campaign decides how hard you try, and for how long.

What this screen is
Section titled “What this screen is”Your dunning campaigns. Each campaign is a retry schedule attached to plans.
The fields
Section titled “The fields”- Retry schedule: steps on a timeline, starting from day zero, the day of failure, and running days after it. You add one attempt per step.
- The action at each step: what happens that day, such as sending an email with a template you choose.
- After all retries: the subscription’s final fate if nothing is collected, such as cancelling it, suspending it, or leaving it alone.
What happens after you save
Section titled “What happens after you save”The campaign applies to the plans attached to it. A campaign with no plans covers nobody, so check the attachment, not just the schedule.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- A customer’s subscription was cancelled after a failed payment: check after all retries; the final action may be cancellation.
